„Great goals require powerful capabilities.—That's what I draw out of people with my keynote.”
Vámos Nóra — extreme expedition athlete and performance mentor
01 — THE KEYNOTE
Not a motivational talk. A methodology you can use on an extreme expedition and in quarterly planning alike.
Resilience
How mental toughness is built under extreme load.
Breaking inner limits
Recognizing and crossing the limits we set for ourselves.
Team performance
What an expedition teaches about team dynamics and trust.
Leadership decisions
Deciding under uncertainty, high stakes, scarce information.
A 60–90 minute keynote, optionally with a moderated discussion or interactive workshop. In Hungarian and English.
„ What I offer you ”
Many feel there is more in them than they are currently living — yet they keep hitting the same patterns. Fears, doubts and old habits build invisible walls around them. They don’t stand still because they aren’t capable of more, but because they have come to believe their limits end here.
As a mother of three I took on situations I never thought I’d be capable of. Weeks-long ski expeditions — alone and in teams — where one wrong decision can cost your life. These journeys taught me that the biggest obstacles aren’t in front of us but inside us. They taught me that if I raise my capabilities, I can essentially achieve anything.
Now, through my own experience, I help others recognize and cross these limits — so your team takes back control and reaches the results they’re truly capable of.
I have developed techniques that work for everyone. Every mentee who completed the training reported increased confidence, productivity, perseverance and more stable progress toward their goals — simply by applying what they learned.
My mission is for people not just to ‘get work done’, but to rediscover the joy, meaning and personal strength in it. Since we spend a significant part of our lives working, it matters greatly whether we experience work as a burden or as a shared creative process in which we grow, achieve results and feel success.
If this resonates with you, request a quote, or simply leave your details — let’s talk and see if we can work together.

03 — WHY NÓRA?
3 things that set Nóra apart from other speakers
0 1
Authentic expedition stories
Not theoretical examples. Nóra lived it all under extreme conditions where decisions carry real weight and the stakes are survival.
0 2
Nem motivációs szlogen — valódi módszertan
Structured frameworks that work in your team’s Monday morning standup. Scientific basis, athlete experience.
0 3
Measurable impact on teams
A 30-day follow-up framework so leaders can report back what actually changed in how they operate.
Bio
„A nyugati part, vagy a halál."
A mother of three and photographic artist, with no athletic background and only 1.5 years of preparation, she became the first Hungarian woman to complete the ultra-distance polar challenge in a mixed pair with Gábor Rakonczay. She is the first woman in the world to cross Greenland’s perilous icy island in the rarely used pair formation — in snow, storm winds and an average of minus 20°C.
Greenland’s interior is covered by a 2000–2500 m ice cap; only twice a year — spring and autumn — is there a one to one-and-a-half month window to complete east–west or west–east crossings. The famous motto of Fridtjof Nansen’s 1888 Norwegian expedition has lost none of its power: ‘The west coast or death.’
Nóra also crossed Norway on a ski expedition. She set out into the unknown with a 7-person international team — 7 people who had never worked together before. One shared goal, endless snowfields, and the real test: how does a team work together when there’s no turning back?
This expedition was not only a physical challenge but a true laboratory of team dynamics, where trust, communication and cohesion aren’t optional — they’re a matter of survival. What she learned there is what she teaches today.
04 — SELECTED CLIENTS

I’ve always loved sports parallels, so I looked forward to Nóra’s talk with great anticipation. In my view business is a kind of endurance sport, so as a listener it’s easy to draw parallels. Listening to Nóra I took away many messages about commitment, planning and re-planning, and about solving seemingly impossible situations. All of it without being boring or preachy — quite the opposite: enjoyable and entertaining. For a moment I felt I was there with her in the ice desert. Heartfelt thanks!
— Péter Gangel, Founder — Bizalmi Kör
Nóri’s account today fascinated and captivated me. What she went through showed me that there are no obstacles that cannot be overcome. Most obstacles are in my own mind. If I think of something as an obstacle, I’ve already created it. Based on Nóri’s experiences, if I had to describe life in one word, it would be PERSEVERANCE. Heartfelt thanks for your talk and wishing you continued success! I highly recommend her to any company leader who wants to set a good example for their team in overcoming life and workplace obstacles.
